Promoters Project aim to acknowledge the journey undertaken by various associations working with the supported employment methodology, both in Spain and Italy. We seek to accentuate the best practices carried out by these associations and by companies with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs which focuses on inclusion and that embraces diversity in all areas. Additionally, we strive to identify and address challenges to be solved in order to enable people with disabilities to access employment opportunities of their choice. We believe that this will lead to greater economic independence and increased participation in the social sphere. Our goal is to ensure that people with disabilities can fully enjoy their Rights.
Spanish Pioneering Entities in Supported Employment

CEOM
Asociación para la Integración de Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual
The supported employment service of CEOM serves more than 50 people who work in regular companies. They have the support of a team of 5 job coaches, a trainer, a counselor, a business prospector, and a director of the employment service.

The program is aimed at young people who are able to work independently. Another path offered by Prodis is through a special employment center, which is designed for young people who can work but need to do so in more protected environments.

ASINDOWN Asociación Síndrome de Down de Valencia
Asindown reaches an agreement with a company that defines a profile and tasks to be performed by a person with functional diversity. Once companies propose a job offer with a job description (tasks, skills, and other job requirements), Asindown selects several candidates who meet the profile from those participating in training activities.

In the initial phase of support, an interview is conducted to get to know each candidate and determine their employability profile based on their education, interests, and experience. Following this, a placement plan is developed, focusing on reinforcing key areas and competencies.

Laborvalía manages 17 occupational centers in the province of Ciudad Real. In 2004, they identified the need for some of the participants in these centers to access the regular labor market through the supported employment methodology.

The Tas Foundation works in the rural areas of the province of Seville. It has presence in 12 rural municipalities. They run 5 training groups focused on social and labor skills, on-the-job training, and internships in companies.
